The punching wastes are no longer in the state of separation, but melt into a strip and discharge downward. When the cutting edge is designed with a hollow stepped hole, the strip waste separated from the constraint of the effective cutting edge wall will have a bending space in the enlarged stepped hole. The bending is caused by the different friction coefficient around the cutting edge wall, and the different friction coefficient is caused by the uneven gap between the punch and die assembly, and the inconsistent finish of the processing around the cutting edge wall of the die, When the bending head of the strip waste contacts the wall of the expanded step hole, the unilateral friction resistance will cause the strip waste to produce transverse distortion and deformation, further leading to the upsetting deformation of the strip waste in the step hole until the whole blanking hole is filled.
When the stamping object is magnetic adsorption material, when the die enlarges the size of the blanking step hole, the punching waste under high-speed stamping will be absorbed to the hole wall when rolling and falling in the enlarged step hole due to the influence of the magnetic adsorption force that the die does not demagnetize after grinding, and will gradually pile up to form a mutual shelving phenomenon of overlapping in the step hole, Increasing the transverse force of the punching waste, accumulating the friction between the punching waste and the wall of the stepped hole, finally affecting the normal fall of the punching waste, resulting in the blockage of the whole blanking hole.
